The U.S. Navy has awarded Prism Maritime, Stimulus Engineering Services and Superior Marine Solutions spots on a potential four-year, $50 million contract to install or de-install surface electronic warfare systems for various ship hulls.

The Defense Department said Tuesday contractors will compete for task orders to perform ship changes and ordnance alterations outside Chief of Naval Operations availability for the military branch as well as the governments of Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and the Philippines under the foreign military sales program.

Work also covers platform prefabrication and fabrication, system and equipment, shipboard installation, quality assurance inspection, documentation and material support services.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center received three offers for the small business set-aside contract and obligated $10,000 to each contractor from the Navy’s fiscal years 2015 and 2016 “other” procurement funds.

Contractors will carry out work at various maritime facilities located inside and outside the continental U.S. through September 2020.
