The 2014 NAVY Nunn-Perry Award Winner is…Sonju Industrial

The Department of Defense (DoD) recently announced the winners of the 2014 Nunn Perry Award based on outstanding performance as participants in the DoD Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP). The prestigious Nunn-Perry Award, named in honor of former Senator Sam Nunn and former Secretary of Defense William Perry, was first awarded in 1995 to recognize outstanding mentor-protégé teams formed under the auspices of the MPP. The Nunn-Perry Awards honor mentor-protégé teams that have excelled in the areas of technical assistance, return on investment, quality and protégé development.

The Navy’s Office of Small Business Programs is proud to congratulate Sonju Industrial for its diligent efforts as a Protégé to Mentor, Raytheon Missile Systems, in the areas of lean manufacturing, information technology, human resources and quality systems.

Teams will receive their awards during the annual Nunn-Perry Awards Ceremony at 1:30 pm on  March 12, 2015 at the Mark Center, in Alexandria, Virginia.
